At the beginning of the lesson the kids took a short test testing spelling of the furniture vocabulary. Part of the students then re-wrote their letter to Cindy to USA. The rest of the children were working with jumbled sentences. They manipulated with the laminated words to make the sentences...

We are in the "House" topic. We listened to and read picture story in the Book, page 41. We practised prepositions in, on, under, next to. We practised vocabulary furniture: bookcase, wardrobe, bed, table, chair, cupboard.

Valentine´s day - we talked about Valentine´s Day. The kids have already had some information about this holiday. We watched a story Valentine´s Day is Cool and talked about the fact that everybody is special in some way. The kids then made Valentine´s Cards for the one they like.
